What a great weekend for Wilmington!

After a great ribbon cutting ceremonies on Friday, 150 children participated in the Kids Tennis Carnival, over 150 children participated in the QuickStart and Junior Team Tennis tournaments and at the same time, almost 160 adults participated in a World Team Tennis format tournament.

Based on the comments we received from quite a few participants and spectators, everyone had a great day!We would like to thank all the volunteers who helped organized all the activities, sale the tee shirts and the food vendors who have donated money to the AGTC Center.

We would also like to thank the City of Wilmington and the New Hanover County Parks and Recreation Departments for their hard work and continued support for the center and for tennis in New Hanover County.
